Enjoy your games in low-light conditions. Add a yellow backlight mod to your original Game Boy (DMG) or Game Boy Pocket (GBP).
The slim design (1.23mm) of the backlight makes it easy to fit within either the original Game Boy or Game Boy Pocket.
Combine the backlight with the Bivert chip to increase the contrast of your Game Boy’s screen. The bivert chip increases contrast by biverting (inverting) the orientation of the pixels of your screen. The module lies flat on the PCB and lines up with the exact solder points you need to use.
Please note: Installation requires soldering.
