Latest V3 Backlight (Resistor Built In)
Enjoy your games in low-light conditions. Add a Washed Yellow backlight and bivert chip mod to your original Game Boy (DMG) or Game Boy Pocket (GBP).
The slim design (1.23mm) of the backlight makes it easy to fit within either the original Game Boy or Game Boy Pocket.
Combine the backlight with the Bivert chip to increase the contrast of your Game Boy’s screen. The bivert chip increases contrast by biverting (inverting) the orientation of the pixels of your screen. The module lies flat on the PCB and lines up with the exact solder points you need to use.
The kit also a includes tri wing 3-point screwdriver which can be used to open your Game Boy.
Please note: Installation requires soldering. Installation of the bivert chip in the Game Boy Pocket requires additional wires. One wire for the bivert chip is included in this package.
